Dematic Corporation and the KION Group have an immediate need for a Sr. Director Compliance Officer. The successful candidate will lead and enhance our world-class Compliance programs. The Sr. Director Compliance Officer will report to the Chief Compliance Officer of the KION Group and will interact directly and frequently with Dematics CEO CFO General Counsel and Senior Management of Dematic. This position will work in concert with HR and Internal Audit.

Key Responsibilities :
- Leads and enhances Dematics global compliance program including global business conduct anti-corruption trade sanctions competition law document governance and privacy
- Provides support and advice to business teams and leaders on compliance policy and privacy matters
- Integrates all aspects of Dematics global compliance program with KIONs global compliance program including :
Code of Conduct (the KION Group Code of Compliance)
Policies related to legal and compliance risksIncident managementRisk assessment and risk managementTrainingCommunicationInformation systems and documentationIntegrates Dematics compliance with KIONs global privacy program including policies guidance advice documentation (such as data processing transfer and storage agreements) and data breach incident response and reportingEngages and interacts closely with management and key functions (such as Internal Audit HR Finance)Works with Internal Audit to determine whether there are adequate internal controls supporting the companys compliance objectivesQualifications and requirements :
Juris Doctorate from an accredited university10 years combined law firm and in-house experience as a practicing compliance professionalLed or managed significant functions of a global compliance programIn-depth experience leading anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance programs to meet the requirements of the FCPA UK Bribery Act and similar anti-corruption laws globallyInternational business and / or compliance experiencePractical experience working with EU privacy programsExcellent communications skills both verbal and written at all levels of hierarchyExcellent leadership and presentation skills including : Ability to lead teams with different professional and cultural background team player and ability to motivate others decisiveness and acceptance of responsibilityHighest level of integrity and trustworthinessA practical and common-sense approach that employs project management toolsAbility to apply an entrepreneurial operational analytic and solution driven mindsetMust be able to travel 30-40% both internationally and domesticallyThe pay range for this role is estimated to be $175000.00-$250000.00 at the time of posting and will be eligible for incentive compensation in accordance with company practices. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.
