Beautician

Essential Functions of Beautician:

• Greet residents upon arrival
• Remove hair using permanent and temporary methods (e.g. electrolysis and waxing)
• Apply hair products, like serum, cream and clay to style hair
• Recommend hairstyles
• Maintain updated residents records (e.g. contact details and treatments)
• Make sure our working area is clean and equipment is sterilized at all times
• Keep track of levels of stock (e.g hair product)

Qualifications of Beautician:

• High School Diploma or general equivalency is required
• Degree in Beauty therapy, Cosmetology or relevant field is preferred
• Must hold current/valid cosmetolgy license.
• Proven work experience as a Beautician, Cosmetologist or similar position; work with senior care is preferred
• Hands-on experience with hair removal techniques is preferred
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Knowledge of beauty products and trends
• Ability to provide personalized services based on each resident requirements
