OVERVIEW
As a Director of Client Management at Zelis, your primary focus will be to develop and execute growth, renewal, and retention strategies for our National Market Clients.
You will play a crucial role in coordinating and ensuring transparency across multifaceted growth and retention initiatives.
Additionally, you will engage with customer leadership teams at various levels to build strong relationships.
Responsibilities
Strategic Client Management
- Manage relationships with customers within the National Markets sector.
- Develop a comprehensive account strategy for expanding the range and quantity of services for each customer across the Zelis product portfolio.
- Prepares and presents Quarterly Reviews with customers including goals, initiatives, trends, financial impact, value and ROI.
- Ensure effective communication with clients regarding upgrades, services, and products.
- Communicate account development plans and status to internal business units and executive management.
- Gather client feedback and ideas for future development to meet their requirements and expectations.
Relationship development
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with customer accounts.
- Serve as the liaison between Zelis and clients, and issue resolution point.
- Advocate for clients by monitoring and supporting all activities, managing problem resolution, and escalating issues when necessary.
Sales Support
- Work closely with sales, operations, and management to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Identify sales opportunities and provide support to sales executives throughout the sales cycle.
- Understand decision process and key stakeholders.
- Participate and support in RFP process.’
Financial Forecasting
- Contribute to creating financial forecasts to support corporate and finance initiatives.
- Identify and document financial and client risks, including necessary escalations.
CRM Maintenance

Management
Recruit, develop, coach and retain exceptional talent, emphasizing the creation and enhancement of a team and organizational culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to enhance both internal and external customer satisfaction.

Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically
- B.S. or M.B.A. in Business Administration or related degree is required. Strong historical and present knowledge of health insurance industry business operations is required.
Senior executive with proven experience in growing and developing business in the health care information space with strong competencies in strategic planning, operations, and business planning.
- Must have between 10-15 years of experience in the health care industry with strong presentation skills, customer (internal / external) problem solving, driving new business, and elevating relationships with both internal and external clients.
