Job Summary

The Office of Education Abroad is seeking a motivated student to join our team. The Student Assistant will support daily operations, student study abroad advising, data tracking, marketing efforts, and clerical tasks to enhance the study abroad experience for FIU students.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of study abroad programs, requirements, and timelines.
• Serve as the first point of contact, guiding students to explore study abroad opportunities.
• Support faculty and staff in preparing program materials.
• Review and track student application materials to ensure readiness for travel.
• Assist with data analysis for annual reporting.
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns, including social media and email outreach.
• Create social media posts to support program promotion and student engagement.
• Perform clerical duties, including filing, copying, and errands.
• Respond to student queries over the phone, via email, and in-person.
• Represent the Office of Education Abroad at various events.
• Other duties as assigned.
