Business Development Manager, Sweet Protein

Position : Business Development Manager (Sweet Protein)

Location : United States Remote (30%+ travel)

The estimated salary range is $100,000 - $120,000 based on experience level.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers and partners through proactive communication and regular visits to discuss commercial opportunities in full autonomy
  • Identify, investigate and follow up on qualified leads and develop business relationship for potential customers in key market areas
  • Maintain and continuously improve understanding of products, applications and markets. Share the insight and knowledge with internal team to optimize product development
  • Manage and execute promotional activities using online channels, e.g. social media, industrial media and industry expos / events, etc.
  • Closely working with the Business team and responsible for driving sales and business development efforts in North / South America to achieve sustainable growth in the food ingredient line.
  • Manage and execute promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.
  • Working with customers and partners to generate market insight of customer needs and industry trends to support build market strategy for new product launch

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree or above and minimum 5 years of relevant B2B sales or business development experience in food ingredients, food & beverage, sweetener or flavor ingredient industry
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • High level of autonomy and the ability to work independently
  • Proven success in building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels with internal and external customers
  • Elaborate strong approach to generate market knowledge and insight.
