The Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in supporting product and equipment testing within our analytical lab. This position involves hands-on mechanical testing using Zwick and Instron systems, data analysis, project management, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

- The pay for this position is $24.58 / hr
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Conduct mechanical and materials testing using Zwick and Instron systems in accordance with established protocols and specifications.Perform sample intake , identification, and disposition, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.Analyze test data using tools such as Excel, JMP, and MiniTab to support product and process improvements.Prepare and review technical reports, protocols, and testing documentation in compliance with our quality systems.Maintain lab organization, equipment readiness, and inventory of test materials and supplies.Communicate testing progress, data trends, and issues to management and cross-functional teams.Support investigations, deviations, and CAPA activities as required.Collaborate with internal and external clients to provide testing updates and technical insights.Recommend improvements to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and testing methods.Mechanical Engineer – Testing & Analysis Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (required).Hands-on experience with Zwick and / or Instron mechanical testing equipment (required).Proficient in data analysis and technical writing .Strong project management , organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment .Experience with MiniTab, SolidWorks , or similar engineering software is preferred.Familiarity with cGMP and ISO quality systems is a plus.If you think this Mechanical Engineer – Testing & Analysis position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me—feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting
