LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Norfolk, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Travel BLS - Basic Life Support Certification (Healthcare Provider / Professional Rescuer) R PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification R NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification PICU and CVPICU experience to include hands on with generalized respiratory, neuro surge patients and a vigorous cardiac care background. Certs and License cannot expire during the 1st 13 weeks FLU required. No exemptions Travel exp 5 years of exp preferred Strong skill set needed in all care areas due to our acuity and diverse population of patient diagnosis. High proficiency in post-neurosurgery patients, asthmatics, or trauma, SI, Status Epilepticus, Cleft Lip / Palate, Craniofacial and specific medication administration (versed, narcotic analgesia) Successful completion of a general care orientation is required as well as two critical care unit orientations (PICU, NICU, or ED) and can independently initiate standards of nursing practice related to assigned patients.
