As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for any suspicious activity or potential threats and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.

Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and permissions as required for entry to restricted areas.

Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences promptly and accurately.

Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and local authorities as required during emergencies or incidents.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

An Armed Guard Card or License is required; having an Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
