Overview
Electrical Technical Trainer / Technical Training Consultant – Location : Appleton, Wisconsin | Employment Type : Full-time / Permanent | Travel : 10-25%
Base pay range : $75,000.00 / yr - $85,000.00 / yr. This range is provided by Lookly, LLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Note : Must be authorized to work in the US on an unrestricted basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively facilitates electrical apprenticeship, QuickStart, and trade-related training classes.
- Collaborates with Apprenticeship Team to research and recommend content, develop, pilot, and implement new technical and / or trade-related training and development programs.
- Designs and develops technical and / or trade-related curriculum based on organizational needs.
- Conducts jobsite or on-site coaching and development of employees (related to audits and / or to assist with novel work or jobs in crisis).
- Develops relationships with operational leaders.
- Supports and provides guidance to the Apprenticeship Coordinator in the coordination of the apprenticeship programs, as needed.
- Works with L&D team and subject-matter experts to continuously improve the content, activities, and delivery of L&D technical and / or trade-related programs.
- Continually increases knowledge of L&D practice.
- Actively participates in professional and trade-related organizations.
- Demonstrates alignment with company values and professional standards, and models these standards to trainees.
- Demonstrates approachability and the ability to collaborate with others and effectively influence.
Qualifications
Education : Completion of an Apprenticeship Program, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree.Experience : Strong technical background with 5 years of related experience in electrical, specialty systems, or related trade, and 1 to 2 years of facilitation experience.Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite; experience operating audiovisual equipment; familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in electrical and / or specialty systems contractor field; knowledge of adult education principles preferred.Travel up to 25%.Work Schedule : Typically 6 : 00 a.m. – 6 : 00 p.m., Monday–Friday; may require work outside these hours to meet business needs.Seniorities & Employment Details
