Electrical Engineering Manager
A company is looking for an Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Manager in Arvada, CO. As an Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing, testing, and implementing control systems.
You will also provide coaching, mentoring, and career development for your team members. Some of your main duties will include :
- Coordinating with Project Management to ensure timely execution of milestones and clear communication of priorities.
- Designing and integrating control systems that operate in hazardous environments and comply with area classification.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks and leading design reviews.
- Driving continuous improvement.
- Staying updated on new technology and providing technical direction / consultation to Application Engineering.
- Standardizing document formats for logic diagrams, control narratives, cause and effect, instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layout drawings, etc.
- Overseeing Factory Acceptance Testing of the control panel and resolving any issues or punch lists.
- Providing consultation to Field Service for start-up / commissioning and troubleshooting.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
