Plumbing Manager (3+ YRS EXP REQ)

Walters and Hemming, LLC is growing, and we are seeking a Plumbing Project Manager to oversee our residential plumbing department. We need someone that can bid plumbing remodel and new construction projects with knowledge of Michigan codes. This person also needs to be able to work with and train plumbing staff in a positive environment while overseeing projects.

• Duties
• Maters Plumbing license
• Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes for Michigan
• 3+ years plumbing experience (Preferred)
• Knowledge of reading and working with blueprints
• Ability to use tablets and similar technology
• Desire to work alongside and train others
• Positive approach to growth and development
• Strong communication skills (Verbal and written)
• Organized
• Self-motivated
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and develop solutions
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong background in plumbing and general maintenance skills.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics with excellent mechanical knowledge and Michigan codes for residential jobs.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and basic math skills for accurate calculations.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading, and assembly tasks is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required on job sites.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Pay : $64,117.24 - $77,216.46 per year
