Mechanical Designer

Hiring : 6 Month Contract - Senior Mechanical Designer (HYRBRID)

Job Description :

Design modules of products using SolidWorks.

Optimize designs for cost efficiency.

Participate in prototyping and integration of modules into overall products.

Design from concept descriptions within defined boundaries.

Work with basic machine type parts such as milling, drilling, tapping, sheet metal, mechanical fasteners, and cable harnesses.

Create outline drawings for electronics, when required.

Requirements :

Must be proficient in SolidWorks PDM

At least 5+ years experience in mechanical design, particularly in fixtures, product, and or electromechanical design.

BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $62.00 / hr.
