IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for an Auto Physical Damage and Property Damage Claims Analyst. This hybrid position can be located in one of the listed IAT offices and requires working from the office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working Thursday and Friday remotely.

Responsibilities
Completes timely handling of auto claims (total loss and non-total loss) to ensure proper valuations, timely settlement offers and responses to counteroffers as well as proper settlement outcomes according to state statutes and regulatory policyCompliant with Claims Best Practices to ensure claim handling discipline and superior qualityEstablishes 24-hour contact and maintains appropriate contact with all involved stakeholders throughout the life of the claim fileEnsures timely and accurate reserving practicesEnsures adequacy of reserves, confirms, or denies coverage and advises policyholders and claimants as to proper course of actionNegotiates settlements within prescribed authority and explains denials to policyholders, claimants, and attorneysPerforms other duties as neededQualifications
Must-Have
HS degree / GED with 2+ years of relevant claims experienceAppropriate claims adjuster licensesSkilled at recognizing questionable coverage / contract situations which necessitate supervisory involvement and able to demonstrate a thorough understanding and use of basic policy / contract coveragesStrong understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance requirementsAbility to handle multiple claims work systemsAbility to set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environmentAuthorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposesPreferred To Have
Associate / Bachelor's degreeExperience handling commercial claimsExperience handling non-total loss claims for commercial and personal lines customersCompensation
Please note the annual gross salary range is $52,900 – $83,800. This range represents the anticipated base salary. Actual salaries vary based on qualifications, skills, and location. Total compensation includes base salary, performance-based bonuses, 401(k) match, profit-sharing opportunities, and more.
