What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Document observations, incidents, and activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the location. Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding individuals to designated areas and communicating with first responders if needed. Work collaboratively with on-site staff and Allied Universal team members to promote a welcoming and secure environment for all occupants. Minimum Requirements : At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid guard card or security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
