Scientific Programmer

A company is looking for a Scientific Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct data analysis and GIS

Develop software using Python and manage databases with PostgreSQL

Utilize geospatial applications and adhere to mapping standards and techniques

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Marine Science, Engineering, Biology, Oceanography, or related field

5+ years of relevant experience

Experience with software development, version control (Git), and container-based platforms (Docker)

Proficiency in geospatial data systems and digital cartography

Familiarity with remote sensing data and government sector experience is beneficial
