What you will do

Build backend code for financial processes from scratch and modify existing core applications using Java and Spring;
Own the built components in production, performing needed support, troubleshooting, and monitoring;
Participate in reviews of system architecture, code, and design documents;

Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements.

Must haves

2+ years of experience in Java (version 11 or higher);

Strong knowledge of the Spring framewor k, including Spring Boot and Spring Core ;

Experience with SQL and databases such as MongoDB ;

Expertise in microservices architecture and REST / API-based development;

Ability to write unit tests and integration tests for application reliability;

Capability to work effectively within a Scrum team and agile environment;

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience;

Experience developing applications with complex business logic;

Upper-Intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

Experience with PostgreSQL;

Control-M or similar orchestration platform;

Drools or similar Business Rules Management System;

Experience tuning and maximizing performance for high volume;

Experience with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry;

Asset Management / Investments / FinTech experience;

Working knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles and tools (e.g., GitHub, Bamboo, SonarQube, Veracode).
