Forensic Pathologist

StartDate : ASAP Pay Rate : $250000.00 - $300000.00

State Forensic Examiner Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Forensic Pathologist to join our team and make a significant impact as a State Forensic Examiner.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Case Management : Oversee approximately 200-250 autopsy cases annually from the western 32 counties of North Dakota.
  • Public Health Focus : Benefit from North Dakota's low crime rate, which allows for a greater emphasis on public health within death investigations.

Candidate Qualifications :

  • BC in Forensic Pathology preferred, but not required.
  • Inquisitive nature, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain professional detachment.

    • Compensation and Benefits :

  • Salary Range : $275,000 - 350,000 per year, depending on experience and board certification.
  • Hiring Bonus : Up to $75,000
  • Moving Expenses : Reimbursement up to $5,000 with appropriate documentation.
  • Health Benefits : and Retirement Plans : 401(k) options available.
  • Continuing Medical Education : Time and allowance provided for professional development.
  • Paid Time Off : 16 days of PTO plus 10 federal holidays.
