Job Description
About Us
Portland Bee Balm started in 2011 in Brad’s garage with wax from his backyard beehives. During that time, we have focused on our craft and our customers. Our core values have been a driving force for the work we do and how we want to operate daily. We have asked questions, listened to feedback, and have always been open to better ways of doing business. We produce the world’s only reusable all stainless-steel lip balm tube – made in the USA and designed to last a lifetime. We source our ingredients and packaging locally and form lasting relationships with suppliers we trust. We have taken this same long-term, holistic approach in building our team and culture. Each team member is essential to achieving the goals we share. We have high standards and hold ourselves and each other accountable while respecting individual autonomy and creative approaches to problem-solving. We make space for team members’ priorities outside of work, believing that people do their best work when life is balanced.
Portland Bee Balm is an independent natural lip balm company. We take pride in creating one of the simplest, cleanest, and highest-quality lip balms on the market with innovative packaging and unique displays. We are currently a team of 13 individuals, working together to make lip balms in the best way possible, with the highest quality ingredients we can source. We care about each other, our customers, our vendors, our local community, and the planet. We strive to evaluate the impacts of all our decisions with care. We have an employee profit share program and open-books policy, meaning all company financial information is shared with every employee. We are a fast-growing company and are looking for someone who is excited to grow with us and be a part of what we’re building. We have big plans for the next year and beyond.
