Seven Healthcare is excited to offer a rewarding travel nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) in Chapel Hill, NC. This assignment offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,300 for three 12-hour day shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel OR Nurse:

• Assist in all phases of perioperative nursing care including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative activities
• Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile environments
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and surgical teams during procedures
• Monitor patient status throughout surgery and respond promptly to changes
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in accordance with hospital policies
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are accounted for and properly sterilized
• Provide patient education and support regarding surgical procedures and recovery

Requirements of a Travel OR Nurse:

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state eligibility
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operating room or surgical nursing setting
