Schedule : Full-Time | 7 : 30 AM 3 : 30 PM | Monday Friday

Pay Range : $35 $55+ / hour DOE
About This Opportunity
BlazerJobs is partnering with a school district in Bedford, NH, to hire a dedicated 1 : 1 Special Education Teacher for a high school student with developmental disabilities. This is a unique opportunity to provide direct academic, behavioral, and community-based support while working closely with two RBT staff in a structured and supportive environment.
Youll play a key role in helping the student succeed during school hours, lunch / ADL routines, and community outings, including vocational and leisure activities. Staff are picked up at Bedford High School each morning and returned at the end of the day.
Why This Role Matters
As the 1 : 1 Special Education Teacher, you will :
Provide direct, individualized instruction and behavioral support for a high school student
Collaborate with 2 RBT staff to implement behavior plans and specially designed instruction
Support the student during morning school activities, lunch, and ADLs
Accompany the student on afternoon community outings for vocational and leisure activities
Collect and document data to monitor progress and support individualized programming
Ensure the students safety and well-being throughout school and community activities
What Were Looking For
We are seeking qualified professionals who :
Have 3+ years of experience in school-based special education or behavior support
Are trained in SafetyCare, CPI, or CALM , or willing to train
Hold an active NH Special Education certification
Have prior experience in behavior-focused school settings
Are compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting a students academic, behavioral, and functional growth
Can collaborate effectively with RBT staff and school personnel
