About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Care Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : CRT

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Mid

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (14 : 45 - 23 : 15) or 12 hours (14 : 45 - 03 : 15)

Experience : 3 years preferred

License : State license preferred; must have applied for the license at the time of submission

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CRT required; RRT preferred

Must-Have :

NE state license in hand preferred.

ACLS and BLS certifications required.

CRT certification required; RRT preferred.

Description :

Licensing is taking 6-8 weeks, and the start date will be adjusted accordingly.

Candidates with at least three years of experience preferred.

Of the three years of required experience, at least one year must be at a large Level 1 trauma and academic medical center.

First-time travelers accepted.

Level 1 trauma experience is required.

Epic charting experience is preferred.

This facility is a leading provider of care to complex patients.

The facility serves as a teaching hospital and is known for cutting-edge research and education.

Candidates must be more than 100 miles away from the facility.

This is a nicotine-free facility.

If nicotine use is suspected, the traveler contract is at risk for immediate termination.

All applicants must have applied for the required license at the time of submission.

Requested time off must be included at the time of submission.

Any requested time off post-confirmation may be denied.

No requested time off is allowed during the first week of employment.

Mandatory attendance at a charting class is required during the first week.

Travelers must comply within 48-72 hours after accepting the offer.

All contracts must end on a Sunday.

Weekend requirements include four weekend shifts out of eight possible in a four-week period.

A compliance document deadline applies to ensure timely onboarding.
