Responsibilities :

Our Caregivers are responsible for caring for our elderly residents, assisting them in all cares of daily living (ADLs), documenting and notifying RCC and nurse of any changes or concerns in our residents' condition, as well as all duties given them as assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.

Requirements :

A background check is required for this position upon hire as well as food handlers permit, CPR / First Aid certification, and a TB test.

We are hiring for all shifts, but are open to hiring caregivers with other availability as well.

Responsibilities :

Helps assist with prescribed medications to patients and maintains related medical records under supervision of RCC and RN. Verifies identity of patient receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms or records. Presents medication to patient and observes ingestion or other application, or administers medication, using specified procedures. Provide assistance to residents with activities of daily living, including-bathing, dressing, cooking, incontinence, cleaning, medication administration, laundry, oral care. Maintain the dignity and privacy of all residents. Protect all resident rights. Assist residents with personal needs as requested, while helping to maintain the resident's independence and well-being. Document appropriately services delivered to residents and any significant changes in condition. Report any concerns with the health and well-being to the Resident Care Coordinator, Nurse, or Administrator. Maintain and protect the confidentiality of resident information at all times. Meet or exceed, the standards of appearance; comply with the sanitation rules, hygiene and health standards of community personnel Responsible for administration of resident medications according to the nurse practice act. Ability to function independently
