Job Summary :

Manages one or more of the following areas : OMAT, maintenance, construction, intermodal, planning, utilities, surveying, environmental or traffic. Serves as group leader to professionals providing professional support in one or more of the areas listed.

Job Specific Duties :

Under limited supervision, assists the district maintenance engineer. This position will function in the role of Field Operations. In Field Operations, the position will coordinate the overall effort necessary to properly maintain the effective, safe and efficient operation of maintenance activities on the state highway system within the district. This will include asphalt paving operations, highway sign maintenance, bridge maintenance, routine highway maintenance and the operation of the district shop and motor pool.

Minimum Qualifications :

The selected candidate must meet the advertised minimum qualifications to include State Entry Qualifications as well as Agency Specific Minimum Qualifications.

State Entry Qualifications :

• Associate degree and experience in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or one (1) year at position equivalent.
