Construction Field Supervisor

Darcy Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Field Technician / Supervisor to join our growing startup and help shape our future. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to develop exciting new technology while applying it to customer installations. Candidates must share our passion for sustainability and collaborative problem-solving, and be eager to contribute meaningfully to carbon reduction goals.

This role will support project planning, quality control, inspections, equipment testing, and technology development, while coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams including Construction, Sales, Geology, and Engineering.

With backing from NSF, DOE, USDA, and other partners, Darcy is leading innovation in groundwater-based geothermal systems for sustainable heating and cooling. Our novel approach integrates water well and geothermal technology to offer cost-effective, energy-efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee well drilling, excavation, and underground piping installation per project specs.
• Enforce subcontractor compliance with technical and safety standards; perform audits.
• Coordinate externally with project stakeholders and internally with cross-functional teams.
• Lead quality assurance, equipment calibration, and system installation oversight.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and field readiness for system installation.
• Sample groundwater and system water per plan requirements.
• Perform independent fieldwork in varying weather conditions.
• Travel regularly to project sites throughout Minnesota and neighboring states.
• Execute other duties as assigned by the operations team.
