Job Description :

• Perform daily task which can and will include service request, repairs, equipment replacement, retro fitting of equipment & piping.
• Interact with customers with confidence, professionalism in appearance, written, & verbal communications.
• Able to record job site information as requested inorder to provide clients and inside office with adequate information to provide client with cost effective solutions.
• Understanding the refrigeration cycle fluently and its components.
• Properly use and diagnose equipment failure with electrical testing meters and proper PPE.
• Capable of using and wearing all PPE items to include hard hats, safety glasses, fall protection, & steel toe boots.
• Handle daily vehicle truck stock inventory for maximum work proficiently.
• Ability to interact professionally with internal / external contacts.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to use discernment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to manage complex projects using independent judgement and initiative.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player who is willing to take on new responsibilities.

Abilities requirements

Language Ability : Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write order form legibly.

Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.

Math Ability : Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Knowledge of basic trade-related math preferred.

Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee must exhibit a great deal of strength and stamina. Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.

Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. Must be able to

• quickly move arms and legs.
• lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
• work in a fast-paced environment.
• work outdoors in the elements.
• Safely climb ladders and scaffolding.

Requirements :

• A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to :
• DUI in the previous 5 years.
• Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
• EPA Certification

Additional items which are welcomed :

• Current first aid / CPR card, OSHA 10 Certification
• Journeyman experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products.
• Formal training or 5 +plus years of experience

Working conditions :

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works at the apprenticeship facility where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts;

high precarious places; possible fire hazard area; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.

There are risks of cuts, burns, flash burns which can be eliminated with the proper utilization of PPE. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud and may require hearing protection.
