Position Overview
The Intern, Financial Planning & Analysis will support forecasting, analysis, and reporting within the Screening business unit. This role provides exposure to the key processes that drive financial performance and decision-making, including budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting. The intern will assist with data analysis, financial modeling, and the preparation of materials that help business leaders understand performance drivers and trends. Working closely with finance team members, this position will contribute to the development of insights that enhance forecast accuracy, resource allocation, and overall financial discipline.
Essential Duties
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
- Help prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and summaries for review by business unit and department leaders.
- Support the preparation and analysis of forecast updates.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improved performance.
- Support the development of ad hoc analyses and reports to assist with business decision-making.
- Participate in the creation and improvement of financial reports and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members across Finance and other functions to collect, validate, and interpret financial information.
- Communicate findings clearly and effectively through written, verbal, and visual formats.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).Pursuing degree in finance, economics, or other quantitative discipline.Strong academic record.Excellent professional written and oral communication skills.Advanced math and analytical skills.Basic understanding of corporate financials including concepts of accounting and financial statements.Willingness and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Tableau.Strong grasp of financial modeling and accounting concepts.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Salary Range : $35,000.00 - $56,000.00 The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.
