DHS is looking for a database expert who will work within the Enterprise Data Warehouse to create and maintain ETL packages needed to support managed care and other Medicaid programs.

The Bureau of Medical Systems & Enterprise Data Warehouse is seeking a motivated candidate to fulfill the Responsibilities of supporting managed care and other Medicaid programs by developing and maintaining ETL packages which are needed for agency reporting.

Experience with mainframe VSAM files are necessary to transform existing legacy files to the Data Warehouse.

This candidate also shares the responsibility for supporting the Medicaid Eligibility system’s Oracle backend interfaces and reporting.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members is mandatory.

Responsibilities of DBA5 role include but are not limited to :

Working with SQL Server 2012+

Working with Oracle (version 11.x or higher)

Working with SQL Server Integration Services

Working with Mainframe VSAM files

Working on an Agile team

Required Skills :

Experience working with SQL Server 2012 +

Oracle 11.x Experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Views

Experience working with CTE (Common Table Expressions)

Experience working with SQL Server Integration Services

Experience working with Mainframe VSAM files

Experience working on an Agile team
