Make the world’s most advanced SDA O&I/GMI even smarter by supporting the SDA team as a PWSA Enterprise Level Engineer. The Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program is part of the PWSA program. It continues the Ground Segment work underway on the Tranche 1 (T1) Operations and Integration (O&I) program.

Responsibilities:

• As a Software Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success and innovation of the program.

Qualifications:

• . Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
• 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree.

Preferred Experience:

• Programming and Scripting:
  Proficiency in Python and JavaStrong understanding of API design, testing, development, and managementFamiliarity with Scaled Agile methodology and best practices
• DevOps and Continuous Integration:
  Knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as codeExperience with AWS (AWS Solutions Architect preferred), Azure is a plusFamiliarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Security:Understanding of security best practices, risk, compliance, vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, incident response, auditing, and monitoring
• Artifical Intelligence:Experience with prompt engineering and AI tools to accelerate workloads

Tools:

• CI/CD and Development: GitLab, Nexus Managed Artifacts, Ansible, Terragrunt, ArgoCDVS Code, Maven
• Cloud and Containerization:AWS: EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, EBS/EFS, VPC, DNS, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrailKubernetes, Docker
• Security Testing:ACAS/Grype vulnerability scanning, SIEM (Splunk), Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Version Control and Collaboration: :Git, Jira, Confluence

While on-site, you will be a part of the SDA program located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
