Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform on-site startup and commissioning activities for assigned systems and subsystems.
- Develop, maintain, and update the commissioning schedule and rolling lookahead plan to align with project milestones and resource priorities.
- Review and control component and system test documentation, ensuring compliance with design intent and contract requirements.
- Provide technical support during installation, startup, and functional testing phases, identifying and resolving issues in real time.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure commissioning readiness and system handover.
- Track progress and proactively communicate schedule impacts, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure all required documentation, test forms, and turnover packages are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Support the Commissioning Manager in maintaining project status reporting and stakeholder coordination.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration on site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Systems Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 3+ years of experience in startup and commissioning of industrial or water/wastewater systems.
- Strong knowledge of Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) and Systems Integration.
- Proficiency in project planning and scheduling, including the use of lookahead tools and commissioning tracking systems.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, project coordination, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with commissioning software tools and reporting platforms.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
