Full Stack Software Engineer JavaScript - HealthTech

Full Stack Software Engineer / Developer New York to $180,000

Opportunity to take an impactful role at a successful and growing Tech for Good company within the HealthTech space; they have secure backing and are planning to scale.

As the Full Stack Software Engineer you will be the first hire within the team and will be instrumental in building the tech stack, applications and internal portals, joining as a founding member and working closely with the CTO.

You will be responsible for developing, key features of the platform which utilises cutting edge advancements in AI and Machine Learning to power the core platform which uses hundreds of biomarkers to identify areas where health can be improved via virtual health consultations, exercise physiologists and dieticians, making recommendations for optimal health.

You'll build a member facing portal / mobile app, develop internal portals for medical teams and collaborate closely with the Principal Machine Learning Engineer to integrate state-of-the-art algorithms and research into the product.

The tech stack is based on JavaScript, React, Node.js, REST APIs, GraphQL and GCP.

Location / WFH :

You'll join a talented and entrepreneurial team in the New York offices with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week.

About you :

You are a skilled software engineer with full stack experience - the tech stack is JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.

js, REST APIs, GraphQL, GCP, you'll need experience with most of these

• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
• You have a good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
• You have a natural curiosity, are keen to learn and evaluate new and emerging technologies
• You're degree educated in a relevant discipline, Computer Science preferred
• Ideally you will have a genuine interest in health and fitness
