About the Position
The Program Manager, Alumni Engagement supports the mission of the OHSU Foundation by building and strengthening connections between OHSU alumni, students, and the broader university community. This position manages programs, events, and digital platforms designed to foster alumni engagement, provide meaningful volunteer and experiential opportunities, and enhance affinity for OHSU. The Program Manager serves as the subject matter expert and primary administrator of the OHSU Greenhouse platform (an online mentoring community between alumni and students), collaborates across teams to execute signature alumni programs, and provides key operational and communications support to ensure alumni remain informed, connected, and engaged.
What You'll Be Doing
Program and Volunteer Management
Collaborate with colleagues on the OHSU Greenhouse content planning and creation, executive presentations, and University integration
Partner with alumni communications colleagues on campaigns and initiatives leveraging Greenhouse
Track alumni engagement metrics on the platform, providing regular reports to supervisor
Experiential Engagement and Communication
Assist with event logistics including packing and printing
Assist with planning, staffing, and execution of Alumni Reunion Weekend and other signature programs
Lead alumni participation in student milestone events (e.g., Match Day, Convocation, SON Alumni Career Panels)
Independently manage logistics for select alumni events and represent the alumni team at cross-campus initiatives
Administrative Responsibilities
Manage in-office alumni storage closet, merchandise, event supplies and oversee inventory
Collaborate with Data Coordinators to ensure accurate alumni information entry and reporting in CRM
Who You Are
Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders including alumni, faculty, students, and staff
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and engage volunteers in meaningful ways
Demonstrated expertise with alumni engagement platforms, CRMs, and event management
Culturally responsive, inclusive, and committed to advancing OHSU's values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge preferred
Required Experience
3+ years of experience in alumni relations, volunteer management, event management, or a related field
Experience managing digital engagement platforms or online communities
Proven ability to independently manage projects from conception to execution
Preferred Experience
Prior higher education, nonprofit, or foundation experience
Experience presenting to groups and representing an organization in cross-functional settings

Working Conditions
Salary (Step I)
$66,164—$79,397 USD
Pay
Salary is dependent on experience. Each salary band is broken into three "steps," which correspond with an employee's experience / tenure, proficiency and performance in that specific role. New employees will typically start at step I of our pay band to allow for later growth, although more experienced candidates may be eligible to start at step II or III. The OHSU Foundation has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity.
