Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment in a central pharmacy. This role is ideal for a highly adaptable, team-oriented pharmacist with hospital experience who can manage a high-stress environment and oversee pharmacy operations.

Unit Information :

815 beds

Pharmacy Staff : 34 Day Shift Pharmacists, 3 Night Shift Pharmacists

EMR : Cerner, Vigilanz

Equipment : Talyst Machine, Pyxis, LAFW, CAI

Responsibilities :

Verify medication orders and clinical documentation

Oversee technician staff workflow

Answer clinical questions from nurses and providers

Product checking / distribution

Participate in operational needs of central pharmacy

Requirements :

RPh license in North Carolina

Hospital pharmacy experience required

Experience overseeing pharmacy technicians

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Team player with a positive attitude

Preferred :

Emergency Department experience

Cerner and Vigilanz experience

3rd shift experience

ACLS certification (if ED experience)

Work Environment :

7 ON / 7 OFF rotation, includes weekends (rotation may start Wednesday or Thursday)

Scrub color : Forest Green top / bottom or business casual allowed
