Phlebotomist
Pride Health is hiring for a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Tustin, CA. This is a 3 month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Responsibilities :
- Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
- Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
- Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
- Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
- Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
Education / Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.
- Active CPT License required.
Job Title : Phlebotomist
Location : Tustin, CA
Schedule : Monday to Friday 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, Rotational Saturdays 8 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm
Pay Range : $18 to $23 / hr
Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
