We are proud to be revolutionizing health care with visionary leadership and world-class resources Work Hours / Shift : As Needed schedule You Will Be Responsible For : + Actively performs all pharmacy technician functions and maintains active proficiency in : + Standard work parameters + Operational programs + Delivery and compounding systems + Hospital computer systems + Medication ordering systems + Maintains operational expertise in and actively provides coverage of the technician services provided by + Central Pharmacy + IV Room + Delivery + Controlled Substances + Oversees appropriate utilization of medication automation, technology, and computer systems + Accurately oversees the management of medication inventories and the preparation and delivery of patientspecific medication doses Qualifications What You Will Need : Required : + High school degree + Registered Pharmacy Technician in their respective state + If applicable to facility Sterile Compounding Certification Preferred : + Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a physical science, business or healthcare + One year of Contemporary hospital pharmacy experience + Current certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or from the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ICPT) Job Summary : Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders.
