About the Role
As BIM Manager , you will lead Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination efforts across multiple design and construction teams for this large-scale, six-year civic infrastructure program. You'll ensure digital models are accurate, integrated, and constructible while maintaining compliance with program standards and fostering collaboration among architects, engineers, and construction managers. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation and efficiency in one of NYCs most visible public works initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee 3D and 4D BIM models for accuracy, coordination, and constructability.
Develop and maintain BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows across project teams.
Coordinate design and construction disciplines to resolve clashes and design conflicts.
Lead clash detection and model-based visualization to support project planning and communication.
Integrate BIM with project management and scheduling tools to support field operations.
Mentor and guide BIM coordinators and technicians on modeling standards and best practices.
Collaborate closely with project management teams to ensure digital design integration aligns with construction objectives.
Support data-driven reporting, visualization, and coordination meetings with stakeholders and client representatives.
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of BIM / VDC experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD Civil 3D .
Strong understanding of BIM standards, model coordination, and digital construction workflows.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelors degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
