Duties :

• Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items, including batters, pastries, scones, yeast doughs, cookies, compotes, soups, gravies and special items
• Laminate doughs for croissants and other pastries
• Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
• Maintain accurate records of recipe creation and usage
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications :

• At least one year experience as a baker required in from scratch kitchen
• Experience laminating doughs preferred
• Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, self- motivate, and prioritize
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Collaborate with other bakers and managers, plan desserts and pastry items, oversee day to day production of baking, other kitchen prep items, and create prep lists
• Basic knife skills for ingredient preparation
