New Job Opportunity - Senior Payroll Specialist
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Washington D.C. Looking to hire an experienced Senior Payroll specialist with a minimum of 5+ years of related work experience processing payroll
Experience with large scale payroll systems is required
Logistics of the Role :
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- Hybrid-Remote : 2 days a week on site
Day to Day Activities :
- Process payroll data received from our clients, relating to pay changes, absence, starters, leavers, pay adjustments
- Process any changes to payroll that may arise out of queries, e.g. overpayments, underpayments and backdated pay changes
- Deliver the required payroll outputs against the payroll calendar and checklists
- Manage & prioritize own payroll delegated work
- Meet tight deadlines regarding deadline dates
- Ensure that all targets for service delivery are met and where possible exceeded
Qualifications / Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting is highly preferred - Associates Required
- Minimum of 5+ years of working experience processing payroll
- Proficiency with large scale payroll systems
- Experience with UKG software is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel
- Communications and Organizational Skills
- knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) + revenue accounting standards (ASC 606)
