POSITION SUMMARY
The Epic Manager of Application Support provides day to day management to a staff of Epic Applications Analysts responsible for providing high quality system services to the Health First Integrated Delivery Network (IDN), ensuring a maximum return on information technology investments and superior customer service to our patients, members, Associates, and medical staff.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversees the day-to-day operations and tracking of all work assigned across team members that they manage
- Leads client facing discussions to understand business direction and produce proactive plan to produce results in a highly dynamic and formative environment
- Partners with other Information Technology (IT0 leaders to ensure projects, issues and ideas are addressed effectively and to continue to provide a positive working environment across the department
- Provide performance coaching to assigned associates by defining responsibilities and expectations, setting individual goals and objectives, giving performance feedback, recognizing contributions, and encouraging training and development
- Supports Epic and IT executive leadership by providing timely and proactive updates; by attending meetings with IDN stakeholders and vendors.
- Collaborates with Epic applications team and other departments in identifying the nature and impact of problems / issues as well as providing timely communication for any escalated problems or issues that will impact the IDN.
- Identifies opportunities for budgetary and application improvement that would enhance the needs of the customers and provide a positive impact to those we serve
- Keeps abreast of current technology developments, partners with team to understand how responsibilities relate to other areas and to use team resources effectively.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Bachelor's degree.Work Experience :Three (3) years' experience leading others.Five (5) years' in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) setting.Licensure : NoneCertification : NoneWork Experience In Lieu of Education : Associate's degree and an additional eight years of managing applications support teams.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities :Advanced level of understanding and application of general systems concepts and their integration with IT problem solving skills.Working knowledge and intermediate understanding of all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Effective communication skills to include demonstrated ability to present to various levels of audience.Ability to solve problems.Effective teaming, organizational and support management skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Health information Systems, or Computer Information Systems.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities : Advanced knowledge of healthcare processes to include state, federal and regulatory requirements.EPIC Beaker, Core Lab, and Lab Information Systems Experience welcome to apply.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
