Infrastructure Design Engineer

A company is looking for an Infrastructure Design Engineer to work remotely in the Seattle time zone.

Key Responsibilities

Design and create layouts of data center infrastructure, including facilities structure and equipment

Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure scalability and efficiency

Monitor and optimize performance of infrastructure components to meet SLAs and business requirements

Required Qualifications

Strong knowledge of data center architecture and design requirements for network, compute, and storage

Proven experience in a colocation or telecommunications facilities engineer role in a large-scale environment

Solid understanding of physical design standards and IT security best practices

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for designing data center layouts

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP) are a plus
