Overview

Fox Television Stations owns and operates 29 full-power broadcast television stations in the U.S., including stations in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas (DMAs), with duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. The stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week and distribute sports, entertainment and syndicated content as part of FOX Network’s national content.

Job Description

Fox 2 Detroit is seeking a Photographer / Editor who will shoot and edit spot news, feature stories and sports.

Key Responsibilities

• The candidate will perform LiveU live shots from in and around the Detroit area on an expected daily basis.
• Demonstrate high caliber news photography shooting and editing skills.
• Shoot and edit sometimes multiple packages per day in the field and demonstrate technical proficiency with editing software (Edius).
• Lift over fifty (50) pounds of equipment, walk carrying a tripod, batteries and Live U backpack.
• Communicate and work well with Assignment Desk, Writers, and Reporters.

Pay and Benefits

The pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $24.66-33.44 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
