We are looking for an experienced Fund Administrator II specializing in financial reporting to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide support for audits and tax reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in fund accounting and financial reporting, along with exceptional analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Draft and review tailored shareholder reports to meet client and regulatory standards.
• Conduct and evaluate quarterly compliance testing to ensure adherence to organizational guidelines.
• Respond promptly to advisor inquiries regarding fund performance and related data.
• Provide documentation and support for annual audits, collaborating effectively with internal and external auditors.
• Coordinate and distribute supporting information required for tax reporting, such as 1099 forms.
• Manage multiple long-term projects by prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while addressing shifting client needs.
• Ensure thorough attention to detail when analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
• Take initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to team projects.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of fund structures, financial reporting processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed to support client requirements.
