Opportunity - Equipment Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate : Up to $30 per hour (based on experience)

Location : Brownsburg, Indiana

1st shift, Monday to Friday plus overtime as needed.

Maintenance Technicians will be directly responsible for supporting various equipment within our Lumber operations which can includes Bunk Cutters, Dust Collectors, EWP saws, Norfield door equipment, exc.

They will respond to service calls, preventative maintenance, breakdowns, and or supporting the operations team as needed.

The technician will perform a variety of work to ensure the equipment is maintained in a safe and effective working condition.

Occasional travel will be required.

Day to Day :

  • Respond to service calls, PM’S, breakdowns, and supporting operations.
  • Maintain and repair a variety of equipment across our Brownsburg Facility.
  • Document all work performed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Communicate findings or support needed with Supervisor or other team members.
  • Work with outside contractors or vendors when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
  • Support Maintenance Inventory
  • Follow lockout tag out and other safety procedures.
  • Have Fun and Enjoy what you do!!

Skill set :

  • Great Attitude and a Team Player!
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s license
  • 2 years maintenance experience preferred OR equivalent trade school / degree / certification.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to travel short term and work OT as needed.
  • Must be able to work independently or in a group setting.
  • Light experience using forklifts, scissor lifts, and other PIV’s.
  • Computer literacy; Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook
