Auto Field Damage Estimator

National General is seeking an Auto Field Damage Estimator with strong time management skills, proficiency in CCC ONE estimating software, solid insurance knowledge, excellent negotiation abilities, and keen attention to detail. Motorcycle estimating experience is a plus. This is a field-based, territory-specific role, with the ideal candidate located in Californiaresiding in or near Modesto, Manteca, or surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Possesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities

Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines

Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on best option

Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines

Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $26.20 - $45.16 hourly and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors. including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay, (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
