Duties, Responsibilities & Other

Our Survey Practice is growing, and we are looking for a licensed Land Surveyor to lead our team in the Greater Atlanta Area. The Survey Practice Leader is a highly organized and experienced individual responsible for day-to-day leadership, financial management, marketing, coordination, team building, mentoring, and staff development within the practice.

This candidate should have 15 years of leadership experience and be a Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM certified). This person will manage, grow, and develop the local Survey Practice.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

Leadership and Management :

• Provide leadership and guidance to Project Surveyors and Survey Managers, and the rest of the staff within the practice.
• Support the professional growth and development of internal team; provide technical project and staff oversight.
• Manage the business within the practice, focusing on achieving budgeted margins, project health, and effective cash management.
• Collaborate with other Practice Leaders to share best practices and optimize success.
• Hire and manage staff; assign job activities.
• Track and coordinate practice performance results.
• Provide project and client leads to other practice leaders to grow their practices.
• Serve as project manager on select projects.
• Ensure high quality on all projects within the practice.
