Construction Project Manager, Heavy / Civil (DALLAS / FT.WORTH AREA)

Position : Construction Project Manager, Heavy / Civil

The Construction Project Manager (Heavy / Civil) will be responsible for specialized management in the concrete pavement restoration industry.

Responsibilities include

• Monitor and maintain job costs, purchasing and scheduling.
• Monitor bid opportunities and be responsible for customer relationship management.
• Develop estimates from various types of bid documents and their key components such as bonding, insurance, indemnification and damage clauses.
• Proficient in construction means and methods, appropriate equipment, material use and applications, crew sizing, and crew buildup.
• Determine productivity rates and accurately include these estimates in the bid package.
• Visit proposed job sites.
• Attend pre-bid and job site meetings.
• Understand and apply Overhead and General Conditions recovery to support the work.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Possess the innovation and development techniques needed on special projects that fall outside the normal scope of operation.
