Advanced Practice Nurse - MRI Radiology

What you will need :

• License : Advanced Practice Licensure (APRN / PA) in the State of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
• Education : Completion of Master's level program in specialty area
• Certification : BLS / CPR and ACLS required
• Experience : Cardiac device (pacemaker / defibrillator) experience preferred. If without cardiac device experience, some cardiology experience will be required
• Must be comfortable with technology and frequent changes in technology. Will be required to program / reprogram 7 devices from various pacemaker / defibrillator manufacturers
• Will be required to perform off label (NON MRI conditional) exams
• Must be comfortable working independently and comfortable working and communicating with a variety of specialties

• Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments
• Promote wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communities
• Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
