This role will sit primarily in the office, but travel to the project job sites meeting with the project teams and subcontractors.

The Accountant I is considered an entry-level position into our Business Unit Accounting job family. Responsibilities

• Provides accounting support for on-site project management teams
• Support the Senior Project Accountant in managing project-level financial reporting and documentation
• Process and track accounts payable and receivables, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Prepare, submit, and monitor vendor payments in coordination with project teams and clients
• Communicate with vendors, project teams, and internal departments via phone and email to resolve financial issues
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to ad hoc financial activities as needed

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and / or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

For Chicago, this ranges from $57,800.00-$79,400.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
