Project Accountant

This well-established, mid-sized construction company is recognized for its commitment to excellence and a disciplined approach to financial management. With several new projects in the $30-40M range underway, our client is seeking a skilled Job Cost Accountant to join their team. In this role, you'll take full ownership of your own project portfolio, utilizing Foundation and ProCore software to manage and document financial data across active job sites.

Job Description

Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and forecasts to ensure financial objectives are met.

Review and analyze project costs, identifying variances and recommending solutions to stay on track.

Collaborate with project managers to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies throughout all project phases.

Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable for assigned projects.

Reconcile project accounts and prepare monthly financial statements.

Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation as needed.

Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.

The Successful Applicant

3+ years of experience in construction accounting.

Experience with construction software, Foundation.

Experience with construction software, ProCore.
