About the Role :

An Events Assistant at Brand Avenue is an integral part of our events team, providing support in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events from conception to execution.
  • Collaborate with the events team to develop event concepts, themes, and agendas.
  • Research and secure venues, vendors, and suppliers for events.
  • Coordinate logistics such as catering, audiovisual equipment, and transportation.
  • Assist in managing event budgets and expenses.
  • Provide on-site support during events, including setup, breakdown, and attendee assistance.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and attendees to ensure smooth execution of events.
  • Assist in post-event evaluation and analysis to identify areas for improvement.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
