Description
About the Role : An Events Assistant at Brand Avenue plays a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing successful events.
This position supports the Events Manager by assisting in various tasks, from logistics and vendor coordination to on-site event management, ensuring every detail is handled with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including corporate events, product launches, and community outreach.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, catering, entertainment, and technical support.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all materials and services are delivered on time.
- Support on-site event management, including guest registration, troubleshooting, and ensuring the event runs smoothly.
- Prepare event materials, including signage, promotional items, and attendee packets.
- Monitor event budgets and assist in tracking expenses.
- Assist in post-event activities, including reporting, feedback collection, and budget reconciliation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work outside of typical office hours during event execution.
